“I go back to my childhood memories and I am 6 years old again, helping my mother in her garden, watering her precious flowers, cutting stems for a daily bouquet of color and scent. I loved smelling all the different flowers, but my favorite has always been the odor of morning dew and lily of the valley and each year in May, until the last year of her life, I get a wonderful bouquet of those precious little flowers, from her garden, to put on my night table. A special memory I have, is the day of my first communion, when she decides I am grown up enough to wear perfume for the first time. She puts a tiny dab on my wrists and I bring a wrist up to my nose and to my joy it smells like Lily of the Valley! Muguet des Bois by Coty to be more precise and I am over the moon. My mother passed a few years ago and I love remembering her in the garden and that very special day when she introduced me to my first perfume and each year in May, I still have a vase of lily of the valley from my garden, that I put on my night table in her memory. When I saw this beautiful ring in your shop, I had tears of joy and I knew that moment that this precious ring would be worn in memory of my mother and the flower I love so much. Any time I miss my mother, I look down at the ring and suddenly I am 6 again and my sweet mother is putting a dab of perfume on my wrist and I can still smell the scent of those beautiful white bell flowers.
